Open call for glitch art aimed at any and all who make stuff by breaking stuff. We will materialize your digital randomness into hard copy objects, project your videos and run your sound installations through air. Any digital media and any glitch technique will be considered, as long as they are representable in the form of a digital print, sound installation, or a video projection.

/’fu:bar/ is an exhibition in a small gallery in Zagreb, Croatia, that aims to gather contemporary glitch artists from all around the globe, and to support all fields of contemporary aesthetics of corrupted data and experimental approaches. By materializing the artworks we aim to affirm glitch aesthetics and help incorporate it into the contemporary art fabric of the Balkans.
The Grey Gallery itself is located at Autonomous Cultural Centre ‘Medika’, an ex-squat, and is focused on presenting both local and international urban subculture-oriented art. Back in 2009 an abandoned pharmaceutical packing factory in Pierottijeva street, a former squat, was legalized by the local government and leased to AKC Attack who’ve been sharing the space with other NGOs and initiatives ever since. This space is inhabited by independent artists and collectives and is offered without any unified context in order to continually develop diversity among programs and projects in the city.
/ˈfuːbɑr/ is organized by the Autonomous Cultural Center Attack and hacklab01, in cooperation with Format C. The exhibition is financially supported by Croatian Ministry of Culture, City of Zagreb – City Office for Education, Culture and Sport, Foundation Kultura Nova, Croatian Audiovisual Centre and National Foundation for Civil Society Development.
